BAD CREDIT is a narrative strategy game about survival, pressure, and the price of easy money.

You play as a loan shark operating out of a dim office in New Brixton, a fictional city filled with struggling entrepreneurs, desperate hustlers, damaged dreamers, and people one bad week away from losing everything. Each day, borrowers come looking for cash. Some have genuine plans. Some are lying. Some are dangerous. Almost all of them believe they can pay you back.

You decide who receives a loan, how much risk you are willing to accept, and what happens when a borrower misses a payment. You can offer extensions, accept favors, report people to the police, cut deals with criminals, or apply pressure when patience runs out. Every choice affects your cash, your reputation, your favors, and the amount of heat closing in around you.

The most profitable decision is rarely the safest one. A desperate borrower may become your best investment—or bring investigators, rivals, and violence to your door. Sometimes the ethical choice costs you money. Sometimes the ruthless choice keeps the business alive. Sometimes you are forced to choose between protecting yourself and making someone else’s situation worse.

BAD CREDIT features five interconnected weeks, shuffled standalone runs, and a campaign mode where you carry the same money through the entire season. Heat resets between weeks, but bankruptcy and shutdown can end the campaign permanently. Survive all five weeks, keep the office open, and finish with more money than you started with.
